📝 Overview

This lesson plan (LP) guides students to practice their reading, writing, speaking and listening skills by learning about the U.S. holiday of Christmas. Students will learn about American Christmas traditions and try a holiday-themed role play activity where they practice asking and answering children’s questions about the mythical figure of Santa Claus.

🎯 Student Goals

As a result of this lesson, students will be able to:
  • strengthen communication, creativity, and collaboration skills
  • learn about Christmas traditions in the U.S.
  • make connections between American Christmas traditions and holiday traditions in their own cultures
