This 60-minute lesson introduces students to the history of soccer and how local landmarks reveal a community’s cultural, geographic, and historical identity. Students take a virtual road trip to cities across the United States, create an infographic that highlights key landmarks, and reflect on the economic impact of tourism on their local community.
